Len Cook, President and Chief Executive Officer
When not driving Old West Marine Services Len can be found working at the computer or wishing he had more time to use his boat on Lake Powell Len is also president of the Marine Merchants Association, a group formed to represent the rights of small businesses working on Lake Powell and he is a member of the Page City Council.
Norma Cook, Secretary/Treasurer
Jerry Apaltegui, Technician Jerry (Unit 15) joined Old West Marine Services in 2006. He has over 30 years of experience in the marine business
Joe Weldon, Parts Manager, IT Manager and Certified Technician
Joe (Unit 10) has been with Old West Marine Services since 1997. His knowledge of computer systems is a great fit with the company as we integrate the business functions to provide great customer service. Joe’s main hobby is computers.
Kim Joslen, Office Manager
Her main hobby is looking after her horses and is the president of the Vermillion Saddle Club in Page
Phil Powers, On Lake Coordinator Phil (Unit 2) joined Old West Marine Services when we acquired his business Waterworks Boat Services in 2004. He holds a 100 ton Captains License. Phil’s major hobby is off roading. DJ Holman, Technician and Pilot DJ (Unit 16) joined Old West Marine Services in 2004 as a pilot. He has since taken and passed proficiency tests to become a certified mechanic. DJ's major hobby is off roading. Marty Martinson
His hobbies include computers and tinkering with technology.
Andy Crank, Propeller Repair Andy (Unit 5) has worked for Old West Marine Services since 2006 and is an excellent propeller repair technician and welder. Bonnie Yantis and Tracy Robertson, Cleaning Team Bonnie and Tracy joined Old West Marine Services in 2006 and are mother and daughter (Units 11 and 12). They work as a team to clean our houseboats in very short order as the boats turn. . |
Len Cook (Unit 1) and his wife Norma founded Old West Marine Services in !996. Prior to this Len was a twenty year employee of what is now Honeywell International, where he became a member of the management team. A mechanical engineer by training, he held a variety of positions within the company.
Norma Cook (Unit 6) was trained as an aircraft repair technician. When not helping Len with Old West Marine Services she can be found working in her garden
Kim (Unit 7) is our Office Manager, responsible for all administrative tasks from scheduling to Accounts Receivable to Accounts Payable and everything else in between. She has been with Old West Marine Services since 2003.
Marty (Unit 9) received his training in the United States Navy and has been with Old West Marine Services since 1999. His expertise in the installation of marine electronics is well recognized at Lake Powell.
